ABOUT NATHALIE YOGA

Yoga is an invitation to move within and to connect with the multidimensional aspect of your being, your KOSHAS.  Because each being is unique, modifications are offered to adapt the practice to the physical, energetical, mental and emotional aspects of the moment.

I teach a Hatha style yoga.  Hatha is defined as "forceful".  It can refer to the degree of effort involved in practicing, and/or the effect of expansion of energy generated by the practice.  Another definition is the “Ha” means sun and “Tha” means moon.  "Ha represents the vital force, and "Tha" represents the mental energy.  When the union between the pranic and mental forces takes place, the whole being becomes more balanced.  In any cases, HATHA yoga is suitable and beneficial to ALL.

TESTIMONIALS

Nathalie’s yoga classes are by far the BEST I have ever attended. I have taken yoga classes for the past 20 years, and Nathalie’s knowledge about the mind-body connection is unparalleled. To promote wellness, she expertly guides participants through a wide variety of yoga sequences and breath work. Because Nathalie offers small class sizes, she is able to provide her students individual attention. Her astute observations and encouraging feedback challenge me to better understand the subtleties of each pose, thereby improving my posture, strength, flexibility, and alignment.  Also, her calming presence and clear instruction create a sense of safety when trying something new. Without a doubt, Nathalie’s yoga classes leave me feeling more centered, focused and energized throughout the day. Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and benefit from Nathalie’s wealth of experience.
